Annals of the Red Church

The Red Church is one of the oldest and most sanctified faiths of the city of Troika. Its clergy are easily identified by their Faceless Metal Helmets and their scarlet robes. The Church extols the virtues of the constant accumulation and recreational consumption of Mass, in the hopes of freeing their Saints from the bondage of the mortal spheres and into the ephemeral weightless beyond.
The faith believes that those who have sinned become Massive, and must be purged of their Mass through confession and absolution, offered by Crimson Confessors. To become a penitent in such a way offers a chance at salvation once mortal life ceases to animate your flesh-form.
As well as the accumulation of Mass, Red Priests perform exorcisms on those who are afflicted by the forces of Change, impart blessings on those in need of insights from beyond the mortal spheres, and conduct other sacred rituals by channelling the Mass of their bound Saints.
